Quality Focus
At Polycom (Denmark) ApS we have a constant focus on quality - quality of our products and quality in the way we work.

Polycom (Dennmark) ApS - former KIRK telecom - has been ISO 9001 certified since 1991, and was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 in October 2003. This new standard has more customer focus and more focus on continuous improvements - very much in line with our own quality philosophy.

KIRK products are tested during the development and preproduction phases, and all products are tested before they leave the factory. Furthermore, field tests are carried out, and external testing institutes, such as Delta, Copenhagen, test the final products.

In the KIRK Quality Management System, available at intranet of Polycom (Denmark), working procedures and policies are described, helping employees optimize working procecures.

Environmental Policy
Polycom (Denmark) is also ISO 14001 Certificated.

We recognize our responsibility to control our impact on the environment. While maintaining and strengthening our competitive position, we will therefore continually strive to reduce the environmental effects of our processes and of our products.

To make this happen, we keep our environmental policy in mind at all times; when we select material for our products, when we look at the different processes of product development and production, as well as when we select various types of suppliers.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Assuring a safe and inspirational work place for our employees remains an important priority for Polycom (Denmark). The effort on occupational health and safety takes place as close to the individual as possible in order to ensure commitment and in order for the individual to obtain understanding of his own responsibility in regards to a better working environment.
